One of ten single-room district schoolhouses in Billerica during the 19th century, this schoolhouse was located on Mt. Pleasant St. It moved from the middle of Mt. Pleasant St to the High St end between 1831 and 1853. In 1871, the Union Hall School was built, and this schoolhouse closed.
